HEAVENLY SOUNDS
The 31st annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival runs June 3-4 at Millennium Park and the Chicago Cultural Center. Headliners for the free fest include: Hezekiah Walker, Travis Green, Shirley Caesar, the Chicago Mass Choir and dozens more local and national artists. The music will be presented at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington) from noon to 4 p.m. and in Millennium Park from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on June 3, and continue in Millennium Park on June 4, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. The festival’s opening night in Millennium Park kicks off with “gospel salsa” from the 13-member Orchestra Ebenezer Ministry, led by Joe Diaz, at 6 p.m. For the complete schedule visit chicagogospelmusicfestival.us
